Description
A course designed for clinicians and allied healthcare professionals in to to take blood samples, this is known as venepuncture, phlebotomy and venesection. On successful completion you will be equipped with underlining theory and skills to gain competence under clinical supervision of a practitioner in your own workplace. this course is suitable as initial training or for refresher training/CPD for experienced practitioners.
Duration
3 hours consisting of theoretical and practical activities.

Certification
Assessment is undertaken through the course and during skills stations by the instructor. A certificate will be issued to those who attend the full session and meet the competency criteria. On successful completion you will be equipped with underlining theory and skill to gain competence under clinical supervision of a practitioner in your own workplace.
Instructors
The course is delivered by instructors who have many years experience of teaching, are practitioners in emergency medical services and hold registration with an appropriate professions council.
