Responding to Cardiac Arrest Risk Assessment and Basic Life Support Training Policy
Risk Assessment used to set response to Cardiac Arrest and other medical emergencies in the primary care medical practice and to set frequency of Basic Life Support training for Clinical and Non-Clinical Staff. By default Basic Life Support training set as annually for clinical staff and three yearly for non-clinical staff. Training in accordance with Resuscitation Council UK guidance can use a range of options, in this policy there is a mixture of face to face and virtual training (can be modified to meet each practices own needs).
