General Dental Council (GDC) Enhanced CPD compliant Basic Life Support Training for Dental Practices
The General Dental Council’s (GDC’s) Enhanced CPD Scheme came into effect on 1 January 2018 for dentists and was introduced for Dental Care Professionals on 1 August 2018.
At Sirius Business Services Ltd we have worked with Dental Practices in the provision of Basic Life Support, AED and Medical Emergencies training and other topics for many years. We have ensured since the introduction of the GDC Enhanced CPD scheme that our training meets the specific requirements of the scheme and have consulted with the GDC to ensure we fully understand the scheme requirements and have tailored our training accordingly.
Consequently our courses:
- Have clear specifications with aims, objectives and learning outcomes.
- Template Personal Development Plan (PDP) entries which can be provided to delegates for them to include in their PDP prior to course attendance.
- Are independently quality assured
- Have a robust assessment process which is regularly reviewed and improved.
- Encourage delegates to provide feedback which is fed into our quality review and course development process.
- Result in a GDC enhanced CPD compliant certificate. Certificates are issued, detailing GDC numbers, time spent, detailed topics, CPD credits, learning outcomes and certification of independent quality assurance.
